Our Mission

The Do Only Good Animal Rescue is here to facilitate the adoptions of dogs currently in the care of Oakland County Animal Shelter. We strive to find the best possible homes for these animals that have, through no fault of their own, been left at the shelter.

Dog of the Week

Say hello to sweet-faced  Sharon, she is still here waiting for her home for the longest time.

This petite little soul is starting to shut down in her kennel, after no body picking her day after day, it's been almost a year. She is happy for her friends that find a way out, but she's so heartbroken that she hasn't found hers yet. She needs a home where her adopters can understand positive reinforcement training.

Sharon is such an amazing dog. She is still learning on how to walk nicely on a leash, but she’s so stressed she has to have something in her mouth. She is extremely food motivated and is easily distracted by food. One free training session included with her adoption.

Sharon seems to be dog selective, a meet and greet is required with any dog she would be living with. No small kids or cats for her.

Sharon is estimated to be around 2 years old, She weighs 43lbs. She’s a mixed breed (she can go to Waterford!) and is the best girl. She’s currently living at the Oakland County animal shelter in Pontiac MI.

Strong work ethic and loves positive reinforcement.

Sharon is ready to pump up

your joy levels to higher than they've ever been!
